NICOLE BERGER

Nicole is an award winning choreographer for Stage, Film and Television in Los Angeles California. 

 

She began her professional career in New York City as a soloist in MARK DENDY DANCE and THEATER and at the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME. She has since performed in major motion pictures, numerous indie films, primetime television shows and international stage productions. 

 

She has choreographed for the Radio City Rockettes and the Hartford Stage Company. As a company member of the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, she worked closely with director Julie Taymor and then on the Film ACROSS THE UNIVERSE.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Nicole had the opportunity to choreograph for SONY Pictures Classic's THE WACKNESS starring Ben Kingsley and Josh Peck. Shortly after she became the Choreographer for TV shows DIRTY SEXY MONEY, HAPPY ENDINGS, THE GOOD PLACE, VEEP and PARKS AND RECREATION. She is currently choreographing for FOX's hit comedy, BROOKLYN NINE NINE.

Nicole has movement coached Ted Danson, Andy Sandberg, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Terry Crews, Andre Braugher, Sandra Bernhard, Elisha Cuthbert, Damon Wayans JR, Megan Mullally, Casey Wilson, and Sarah Sutherland.

 

Nicole is the Artistic Director of Los Angeles based COMPANY RHOME, a Los Angeles ballet theater company. Her choreography has been performed in numerous venues across the nation; most notably NYC's THE JOYCE THEATER, THE PUBLIC THEATER, THE KITCHEN, Los Angeles' THE BROAD STAGE and Palm Springs' THE McCALLUM THEATER. 

She has been commissioned to create original dances by Santa Monica College, American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), The Joyce Theater Foundation, DanceNow, and The Djerassi Foundation. Nicole was a 2015 and 2017 McCallum Theater Choreography Festival Finalist.
